Terms of Service
Effective 26 June 2026
NurseMasomo is operated by Infosencia (referred to as “we”, “us” or “Infosencia”). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the NurseMasomo website and application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are permitted to enter into this agreement.
2. Your account
You register using a valid phone number, which is verified by a one time code. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it. One account is permitted per person. You agree not to share, sell or transfer your account, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. What the Service does
NurseMasomo helps nursing and health science students revise using questions generated from study materials, past paper analysis and spaced repetition. The Service is a study aid. While we work to keep content accurate and relevant, we do not guarantee any particular examination outcome, and the Service is not a substitute for your official curriculum or professional judgement.
4. Free trial and payment
New accounts include a 30 day free trial that does not require any card or payment details. After the trial, continued full access requires an active paid plan. Plans are billed in Kenyan Shillings and paid through M-Pesa using our payment partner, IntaSend. Current prices are shown in the app before you pay.
Each payment grants access for a fixed period, such as 30 or 90 days. There is no automatic recurring charge. Your access is extended only when you choose to make a payment. Prices may change from time to time, but a change will never affect a period you have already paid for.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the notes, past papers and other materials you upload. You grant Infosencia a limited, non exclusive licence to store and process that material for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you, including generating study questions. You confirm that you have the right to upload the material and that it does not infringe the rights of others or breach any law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the Service, access it through automated means without permission, resell or redistribute access or content, upload unlawful or harmful material, or use the Service in a way that infringes the rights of others.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and the library of questions and explanations we provide, belongs to Infosencia and its licensors. We grant you a personal, non transferable licence to use the Service for your own study. This licence does not transfer any ownership to you.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, suspend or remove features, and we may carry out maintenance that temporarily interrupts access.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully or fraudulently. Where it is fair to do so, we will give notice before taking such action.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Kenya, Infosencia will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data or examination outcomes, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any dispute relating to them is subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
